Tiers and packs
FoamSync has three tiers; the parametric generators come as packs you mix on PRO.

- BUILD — DOME, VAULT, BUILDING.
- AERO — NACA airfoils, spar slots, 4-axis wings.
- THERMAL — PIPE shells, THERMAL panels.
- DECOR — CORNICE mouldings, GRID freehand sketch, TEXT lettering & signs.
The CAM core — primitive Shapes, SVG / DXF import, nesting, 4-axis toolpaths, collision + wire-safety checks, the machine pages, material library and diagnostic export — is in every tier. See the full feature matrix and current prices on the pricing page.
Your Machine ID
A licence binds to one machine, identified by a 16-character Machine ID derived from its hardware. You’ll see it in the activation dialog (with a COPY button), and you can read it without installing the full app using the standalone Machine ID tool on the download page.
Activating
Two ways, covered in Getting started:
- Online — paste your key, press ACTIVATE; FoamSync binds the licence via the licence server. Needs internet at activation time.
- Offline
.dat— your distributor issues a signed licence file bound to your Machine ID; you DROP LICENCE FILE to install it. For air-gapped machines.
Moving a licence to another machine
A licence is bound to the machine it was activated on. To move it:
- Get the new machine’s Machine ID (activation dialog, or the Machine ID tool).
- Contact your distributor / support with your key and the new Machine ID.
- You’ll be re-issued for the new machine. Don’t try to copy
license.datbetween machines — it’s hardware-bound and the copy will be rejected and retired.
Replacing a hardware component (disk, network card, etc.) can change the Machine ID. If a licence stops validating after a hardware change, contact support for a re-issue.

Click the banner any time to open activation. During the 7-day trial every feature is previewed, output runs on the virtual driver, and real machine output is held until a paid licence is activated.
